The director of the Institute of Tourism, Mariola Martinez, and the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, today inaugurated the eighth edition of the 'Regional Conference on Rural Tourism', held in Fortaleza del Sol from today until next Friday.
During his speech, Martinez stressed the importance of this forum, "in which experts from all disciplines will address topical issues such as European funds Leader, applications of the new Law on Tourism in the rural segment, its integration with tourism of sun and beach and its future prospects. "

The director of the Institute of Tourism also stressed that "today Lorca is positioned as one of the most important rural destinations in the region."
