The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar reported this morning that the residents of the old road to Eagle, which connects the districts of Cazalla, Campillo and Puri, can connect to the new sanitation collector with an average reduction of 50% compared to Regular cost of such connections, building improvement works that are running on that road.

The mayor explained that the company Aguas de Lorca, at the request of the City Council, installed a complementary infrastructure to the collector who started on the left side of the road.
It is a performance in which they have invested 60,000 euros, and allows residents of both sides to connect their homes to the sewage system.
This investment also significantly reduces the cost of intersection of each neighbor, as they have to cross the road, with consequent savings in licensing.
The Mayor said about sanitation it is an investment of 3.4 million euros that meets a real need for citizens, providing a quality service to the residents.
This enhancement is included in the Comprehensive Drainage Plan that was launched between the municipality and the Ministry of Water in 2007, which envisages an ambitious improvement interventions battery for an amount exceeding 100 million euros.
Francisco Jodar has highlighted the remarkable return on investment that are running in this area whose total amount exceeds 5.2 million euros.
