Employment Councilwoman City of Lorca, Eulalia Ibarra has reported that "unemployment has fallen again in Lorca in the month of July, which means that in the last twelve months there has been a reduction of 367 people."
The mayor said that "in the seven months so far this year, five have fallen unemployment, it is noteworthy considering the construction sector recorded the best data from earthquakes with 490 fewer unemployed than before the earthquake."
Ibarra explained that "unemployment has dropped mainly in agriculture and construction, where they are noticing the large amount of refurbishment of neighborhoods, housing reconstruction and rehabilitation of educational, health centers and monuments that are running in our municipality. "
Finally, the councilman stated that "Lorca returns to have better employment data that the rest of the region, being one of the municipalities where there are less number of unemployed people."
Lali Ibarra said that the month of July ends with the best figure in the lists of unemployment for 30 months (February 2012), confirming that the labor market recovery is evolving in a positive direction.
Employment Councilwoman said it is good news that we should serve all stakeholders as an encouragement to continue working together.
Now is the time to continue to develop more strongly if it fits our task for Lorca who are still unemployed.
It is the responsibility of everyone, not just the City will work to improve the picture.
