5 races at around Barrio de la Virgen de las Huertas were held to allow the participation of fans of all ages
The second test of popular XXXVI Guadalentin Sports Games was held this morning resulting in a new level of participation.
This is the Fun Run Run for Parkinson'sy V Women's Race.
And in this time racing the Olympics Lorca decided to join this solidarity initiative to support people suffering from this disease.
This, plus the amount of finance provided through registration, the members of the Association of Patients Lorquina Parkinson ASLEP, have announced the participants the great work being done.
They were also accompanied by the organizers of the Run for Parkinso's initiative, with its National Coordinator, Monserrat Mouriño to the head.
This year the different races have been held in the Barrio de la Virgen de la Huertas from the Games because they wanted to make clear support for the Fair Girl Lorca.
The first race was 5'3 kms.
intended for larger core of participants: cadet, junior, juvenile, promises, senior and veterans.
This started at 10 Thomas Street from the Quijero Arderíus Aquino to cross the Puente de Vallecas, Alameda de Cervantes, Avenida Juan Carlos I, Santa Clara, Town Bridge, Main Street, Bridge Street Jimeno, New Bridge, Poet For Vico and return to the same starting point.
A year this race was the last of the Popular Racing Circuit Lorca so the motivation to get the best position was twofold.
Jointly held the V Women's Race Games in order to encourage women's participation in sport.
On this occasion 63 females participated.
Note that the winners in both male and female career were two very young Lorca runners-coming Sports Association Eliocroca: Alejandro López and Irene Martinez Abellaneda Padilla.
Then the races were held aimed at the younger participants, all enabled by Street Aquinas Arderíus own circuit.
The first was intended to backpacks, children under 5 years, of course, belong in the Games and they had a great run with their daddies.
All participants received a medal after completing the 200 meters long.
The next race in dispute was the youngest, who competed in 1200 meters.
Then fry in a distance of 1,600 meters.
Finally it was his turn to brokers and brokerages children who demonstrated their future in the world of athletics walking 2,000 meters.
Following the conclusion of all the sporting events took place the presentation of medals and prize draw among all participants in the park of the Virgin de las Huertas.
The awards were presented by the Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jódar- who finished the race in a creditable eighth in the Veterans category E, the Councillor for Sports, Augustine Llamas, Councillor of Finance, Luis Amador, the National Coordinator Run for Parkinson's, Monserrat Mouriño, and Secretary of ASLEP, Fina Ruiz.
