The Regional Assembly of Murcia yesterday approved 26 motions aimed at consolidating the reconstruction of Lorca, following a case discussion in which again revealed the concern of the three parliamentary groups that make up the House for the present and future of that city, devastated by earthquakes in May 2011.
The case discussion was started early in the morning the Minister of Development, Public Works and Planning, Manuel Campos, with a detailed description of the embodiments of the regional government in the last three years.
Members Aquilino Ana, Manuel Soler and Jose Antonio Pujante, presented from the speaker's argumentation of their respective parliamentary groups: Popular, Socialist and Mixed.
In the final session we proceeded to debate and vote on the motions previously submitted by the Parliamentary Groups, approving a total of 26, 25 of them unanimously.
Part of the fifteen resolutions adopted at the proposal of the parliamentary group, mandatan the regional government to complete the reconstruction and improvement of the city, with new activities related to road infrastructure, educational infrastructure affected by earthquakes or the sewerage ;
while in others ask their help in future projects such as a new call reindustrialización Plan, the promotion and expansion of tourism and cultural sector of the city or the construction of the Convention Center Santa Quiteria.
Among the proposals promoted by the majority group also include the construction of the Central Round and a new fire station, as well as the expansion and improvement of the facilities of the hospital Rafael Mendez, by moving outpatient at St. Rose of Lima .
The Parliamentary Socialist Group won the unanimous support of the House five of his proposals-two of them having been transaction-, which advocated, among other things, to build the second phase of the campus of Lorca, and compensate families who did not receive compensation for not having insurance policies from their homes when earthquakes shook the city, and others which lost more than 70 percent of farms in the floods of 2012.
The Assembly also unanimously endorsed six proposals by United-Green Region of Murcia, two of them transaccionadas- Left, Â which include a commitment to build 300 homes by the State Society of Public Lands, obtaining additional aid for the acquisition of housing or the implementation of measures to promote employment, quantified by 10 million euros in Lorca Plan +.
