The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar has reported that the Full Council of the city unanimously adopted a motion proposed by the Mayor to extend, during 2015, the tax benefits granted to Lorca in Law 22/2013 of State Budget for 2014, in order to help rebuild the town after the earthquake of May 11, 2011.
The Mayor has stated that it has asked the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Spain to be included in the draft Law on General State Budget for 2015, the same tax benefits granted to Lorca during the year 2014 in the Law 22/2013 of December 23 State Budget.
Francisco Jodar has ensured that these are measures that would contribute positively to the process of reconstruction and recovery of our city.
We have therefore requested the Government of Spain, as a measure of momentum, extend the bonus of 50% of IBI at least until 2015 has also added the request to keep the bonus to 50% of the IIVTNU (surplus) for the same reasons for the 50% bonus share IBI.

Jódar Alonso has stated that in the past four years for the city of Lorca, after the earthquake of 2011, the government has waived the fee payment of IBI to those affected by the earthquakes in the years 2011, 2012 and 2013, and the IAE share and has 50% bonus share and share IBI IIVTNU (surplus) for the year 2014.
