Councilman Sports City of Lorca, Agustín Gómez Llamas, announced that a study of the Office of Sports Advisory Council of Lorca has been featured this morning at the VIII International Congress of the Spanish Association of Sport Sciences, held from 13 to 15 November at the Faculty of Sport of Caceres.
Llamas said, "This study has been prepared by the Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Sports Daniel Navarro Segura and marked the final project of the Master in Sports Performance and Health, University Miguel Hernández. The work, presented by the same University in collaboration with the Department of Sports Lorca, identifies the user profile Cabinet Sports Consulting and the factors that influence their loyalty. "
The study entitled "Sports Cabinet Advisory Council of Lorca: profile of users and factors that influence their loyalty" was developed during the academic year 2013-2014.
This work has been broad participation by users of the Cabinet, the place from which the procedure for data collection, it was a phone interview consisting of a questionnaire to identify the profile of users and a qualitative interview was conducted semistructured to understand the factors that influence loyalty to the service.
The results of this study show that the majority of service users profile includes men between 29 and 39 seeking advice for running, whose monthly household income ranging between 1,000 and 1,500 € and place of residence is located in the urban area of ​​Lorca.
Furthermore, they were identified as major factors of loyalty to the service with the same satisfaction with the results, satisfaction with technical service and free capitalized.
On the other hand, the main factors of abandonment of service are lack of time, injuries or physical problems and the belief that the service had closed after the earthquake that struck the city on May 11, 2011. They were also collected proposals improvement.
The mayor noted that "through this study can improve the service we offer from Deportivo Advisory Cabinet and is so well appreciated by users as a tool to advance ulil training and practice of physical activity."
