The regional government accepted an amendment of this training to a law approved Wednesday on tax and extraordinary measures following the earthquake.
The Regional Assembly of Murcia approved today a new law amending turn two laws of 2011 and 2012 on aid and tax and extraordinary to the town of Lorca measures.
In principle, the reform initiated by the regional government only intended to extend the term of the tax measures until 2016, but once the debate opened, the regional deputy IU-Greens, Jose Antonio Pujante, following a demand arrival IU councilors, which in turn would have raised concerned neighbors and technicians operating in the reconstruction of Lorca, raised, one of which has already been accepted in committee (and in advance the debate three partial amendments to the Law on the floor of parliament) for the PP.
With this amendment IU-Greens rate of tax is lowered (0.1%) to the stamp duty granted before a notary to formalize operations grouping or aggregation of farms for the reconstruction of demolished buildings.
The IU-Greens amendment will allow some neighboring communities facing reconstruction, and require farms to the same group, could save around 15,000 euros in taxes.
The other two proposed amendments, also seek a rebate of taxes on the transfer of homes that are being rebuilt, when their original owners have refused to participate in the reconstruction process, and buyers need to look outside to ensure viability of the reconstruction.
The fact that tax law subsidizes those affected by demolition, who decide to buy a home elsewhere, not participating in the reconstruction of the demolished building, but there is no such tax benefit for those not initially being affected is given deciding buy a flat in a building already demolished and rebuilt, making it possible to collaborate and reconstruction.
IU deputy-Green argues that it makes no sense to keep such discrimination, and hoped that eventually the PP also accept these amendments.
Finally, Pujante says he was surprised that no other political groups, with Lorca deputies in Parliament, nor anyone Lorca municipal government, which has set up a large team of technicians around the Department of Earthquake, they have raised any amendment to the text of the Act.
