The Councillor for Culture in the city of Lorca, Sandra Martinez, reported that on Saturday November 22 from 10:30 am will develop a free tour of the medieval walls of Lorca guided by archaeologists Municipal Archaeological Museum to commemorate the Feast of San Clemente.
Martinez Navarro stressed that allow you to appreciate the journey from the Town Bridge and catwalk Manterola profile of the fortified city, continuing the tour of the Fountain Gate of Gold, at Rambla towards the Porche de San Antonio, only preserved medieval gate in use in the Region of Murcia.
The chance to watch the passing round of the wall will also enter the tower and 9 for observing the construction characteristics of the foundation.
The main novelty of this route is that you can access the Conservatory of Music, into which one of the sections of that wall remains, and has been recently restored thanks to improvement work performed by the City that have counting an investment of 600,000 euros.
