The First lorquino Edil, accompanied by Vice President of the European Parliament, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, has held meetings with leading managers of Community organs in order to advance important projects such as the Central Ronda, the Congress Center of Santa Quiteria or Business incubator enlargement
The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar has led a mission work in Brussels in order to move forward in the planning of infrastructure that will be carried out in the municipality under European funds.
The First lorquino Edil was accompanied by Vice President of the European Parliament, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, and Local Development Councilman Consistory of Lorca, Eulalia Ibarra.
During the day on Thursday the Mayor held several meetings with key managers of community bodies in order to advance various projects to be implemented in the municipality under European funds like the ERDF funds and the benefits of solidarity lottery draw Lorca, such as the expansion of the Business Incubator, construction of the new Conference Center Santa Quiteria or the execution of one of the sections of the Central Round.
Specifically, they held meetings with Iskra Mihaylova, Chairperson of the Committee on Regional Development of the European Parliament, Normund Poppens, Director General Implementation of the European Commission or Andrea Mairate, Head of Unit, Directorate General for Regional Policy of the European Commission.
Jódar stressed that "have been very productive meetings that have pooled everything necessary to advance the implementation of these important investments that will enhance our town and its economic and labor resources of substantial way.
