Councilman Sports City of Lorca, Augustine Lamas, presented, together with the Director Trophy, presented this morning the Third Edition of the International Christmas Tournament "Ciudad de Lorca", organized by the Chess Club of our city, that will be developed during the March 26 to December 30 in the Campus Universitario.

This time they will be present in Lorca Great Masters of Italy, Argentina, Paraguay, Cuba, Moldova, Armenia, Denmark, Ukraine, India, France, England, Romania and Russia.
As a competitor to beat Star have the chance to see play world number 74, Ukrainian Sergei Fedorchuk player, who currently has 2,673 points in the classification of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) within the scoring system called ELO.

Each player will have 90 minutes and 30 seconds cumulative increment per move, under the rules of the Laws of Chess FIDE.

As for the prizes, the champion will receive € 1,500 and a trophy, the 1000 runner-up and third-placed 700 cash prizes and trophies for the top 15 ranked are established, in addition to the first ranked ELO, regional, local, female category cadet, infantile, juvenile and youngest.
