The general director of Educational Quality, Innovation and Attention to Diversity, Begoņa Iniesta, and the Councillor for Education of the City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, this morning visited the College of Education and Primary Pasic Campillo, that during this course coordinating a project National improving learning through classroom introduction of digital media.

The project, called 'EvoluTICvos' and selected by the Ministry of Education, with the participation of three other schools in Valencia, Granada and Segovia and is endowed with 110,000 euros, of which 30,000 are for the center in Lorca deputation of Campillo.

Besides the 'EvoluTICvos' program, in which it is to bring digital media to the classroom in a real way in which students are the protagonists, the center power especially encouraging reading through the Reader Program the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities.

This plan aims students improve their speaking and writing skills, enrich their vocabulary and acquire a habit of reading to improve their learning ability, while that makes them discover the pleasure of reading as a leisure.

The center also conducts centered curriculum development each year a different theme (in this course is the cinema) that structures the activities carried out in the classroom.

Furthermore, it is starting to work on the ABN method for improving mathematical competence, so that teachers are receiving training in seminars and workshops organized from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities.
