The Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users of Lorca organizes the IXX Meeting of Poetry and Music of 'Valentine' on Tuesday with the Department of Culture
The proclamation and poetry reading borne by John Thomas Frutos and performance of the Coral Santa Cecilia will be accompanied by the Children's Choir of the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users of Lorca.
These events will take place at the Cultural Center.
The Councillor for Culture and Celebrations of the City of Lorca, Sandra Martinez, president of the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users of Lorca, Carmina Reverte, presented the IXX Meeting of Poetry and Music traditionally been organized to mark the 'Valentine's Day', and this year will be held on Tuesday, February 17 at 18:30 pm at the Cultural Center of the City.
Martinez explained that after the presentation by Reverte program opens with the proclamation and poetry reading borne by John Thomas Frutos, who in the second part will follow the performance of the Coral Santa Cecilia, directed by Jesus Jodar and will be accompanied by the Children's Choir of the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users of Lorca.
Specifically, the choir of children perform 'Credo' and 'Christ, Christ Jesus' both of Misa Campesina and' Let the children sing 'by José Luis Perales, while adult Coral offer the songs' I sell eyes Blacks' Arthur Gatica, 'Zamba del Grillo' Atahualpa Yupanqui, 'For you I fly' Francesco Sartori, 'Something To Remember Me By' de Lorenzo Santamaria, 'Night' by Chopin (Opus 55 No. 1), 'Everything will happen' Matt Monro, 'Solidarity City' of Pomus Shoman Mapel and 'Bohemians' Amadeo Vives, with arrangements and direction of Jesus Jódar.
In this sense the council has encouraged Lorca and Lorca to enjoy this cultural activity.
