The Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities developed this course in the Music Conservatory Narciso Yepes of Lorca a program of early initiation violin is a pioneer in the region and now in its second edition after the optimum results achieved in its first edition.

This was said today the Minister of Education, Culture and Universities, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, who along with the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, visited the Conservatory Narciso Yepes and held a working meeting with his management team.
Specifically, the first edition of this program allowed students who began at age four, a medium level of second year of Elementary Music Lessons, acquire proper study habits, understand simple formal structures learned and memorized parts quickly.
Also, the advance of the first students who participated in the program, older students motivated to progress in their studies.
One of the features of this program, which uses the Suzuki Method (also known as Method Mother Language or Talent Education), is the involvement of the student's family, accompanying them in classes, facilitate their studies and organize activities outside the center.
"The involvement of families in their children's education facilitates success in studies in both music and the rest of that course, promoting the right to advance and overcome any difficulties climate," said the Minister of Education.
During this course, the Conservatory of Music in Lorca has offered nine seats early initiation program the violin for children five years.
In this second edition has shortened the time the program from four to three years.
During his visit to the Conservatory, Pedro Antonio Sanchez and Francisco Jodar also learned about other aspects of the lessons taught in the center a faculty of 51 teachers.
Currently, 467 students studying in 17 musical modes, 208 of them in Teaching Elementary and 259 in the Professional.
During this course complete their training the first students of the specialty of Canto.
The Conservatory of Lorca was launched in 1989, starting with eight instrumental specialties: clarinet, flute, guitar, piano, trumpet, viola, violin and cello.
