The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, and the Director of Regional Employment and Training of the Autonomous Community, Alejandro Zamora, presided this morning's meeting Bureau of Local Employment of Lorca in which it took stock of the activities carried by the Department of Employment of the City of Lorca in 2004 and helped the unemployment down in that year 622 persons, ie 8.1% compared to 6% of the national and regional average.
Jodar explained that "in this period the Department of Employment has formalized during this period 350 contracts to persons who were registered as unemployed in the municipality, of which 244 were working (mostly one year) and 106 training contracts. In addition, the municipal area awarded scholarships to 98 unemployed in the municipality and formed another 326 unemployed in 2014 ".
The mayor has also emphasized that "the municipal area advised 138 entrepreneurs, gave training activities from 31 different professional profiles and whose students could do internships in 93 partner companies".
The actions include training courses included in the employment program of Lorca Plan + for women funded by the Ministry of Social Services and aimed at all unemployed funded by the Regional Employment Service as well as employment and training projects co-financed by European and municipal funds.

New programs Lorca + Employment Plan funded by the SEF
The Director General of Employment has reported that "continuing programs 'Plan Lorca +' on Employment, some of which have been funded by the Regional Government and others by the National Government and the European Union, 111 unemployed Lorca will benefit from the new programs funded to the City by the Regional Employment and Training, especially those older than 25 years, since the Employment held in parallel a youth guarantee program to promote employment among young people, and Family Guarantee for long-term unemployed ".
Moreover, Zamora explained that in the coming months will be announced new programs of this plan with European funding.
