The Cabinet has approved a grant of 149,000 euros to the University of Murcia (UMU) and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) for projects of bilingual education, entrepreneurship and development of international networks within the Campus of International Excellence Mare Nostrum .
These actions are aimed at creating an entrepreneurial innovative academic, scientific, and aimed at obtaining a high visibility and international excellence of the joint initiative of public universities in the region.
The purpose is to assist in the implementation of projects to encourage and promote bilingual teaching in their degrees and, most especially, in interuniversity and to promote their services Languages, as support for the training of students and graduates in foreign languages.
The Community, for its part, contributes to the promotion of entrepreneurship culture through training activities and support of entrepreneurship among students and graduates.
This is to promote the transfer of scientific and technological knowledge from universities and research centers to the social and productive fabric.
