30/03/2015 The mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, along with Councilman Employment, Eulalia Ibarra, has delivered this morning prizes VIII Business Initiatives Competition organized by the Department of Employment of the City of Lorca, and have fallen in five entrepreneurs so that the first two awards will be shared by the promoters of two companies each.

In this sense, the first prize of 6,000 euros, I have divided the producers and marketers of custom skis 'Kustom Skis' and 'Qlikapp', that have transcended borders with his application for the hospitality.

The second prize of 4,000 euros, went to 'Creative Notions Between Seams', which develops creative workshops while selling haberdashery, and 'Divinity Cake', who are experts in creative pastries.

Meanwhile, the third prize, which is 2,000 euros was for 'Magnifit Personal Training', innovative services in custom sport and physical activity.

In choosing these projects among the dozen proposals presented was made by the Mayor, Councillor for Employment and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, CECLOR and Guadalentin Embark;

representatives of the UGT and CCOO trade unions, technicians of the Department of Employment and members of the various political groups

"Today we reward excellent examples of what can be achieved with capacity for commitment and effort, important values ​​that today we reward those who have demonstrated that they do well," said the mayor.

The Competition of Business Initiatives City Lorca is one of the lines of aid that has the City Council for new entrepreneurs and joins orientation programs and training for self-employment, supply ships in the municipal nursery businesses, support Nursery offices of the Chamber of Commerce or aid program creation and modernization of enterprises of the districts and the historic town of Lorca.

These programs are complemented by other means of support to new entrepreneurs driven from local, regional and state administrations as the capitalization of unemployment, ICO loans or subsidies to self-employment.
