The Joint Commission, established by Royal Decree-Law 6/2011 on measures to repair the damage caused by earthquakes Lorca May 2011, decided in its meeting today a total of 67 cases, of which has derived the granting of aid worth 815,024 euros.

On this occasion, has approved a block grant for housing reconstruction amounting to 428,798 euros;

rent subsidies worth 197,256 euros;

by common elements, 101,735 euros;

repair, for 86,405 euros;

and aids for goods amounting to 829 euros.

The files examined in housing resolute meetings of the Joint Commission now total 15,970, which represents 99.2 percent of the total, with an economic amount approved to date amounts to 79,314,132 euros.

The meeting today was co-chaired by the Minister of Development, Public Works and Planning, Francisco Barnabas, and the government delegate, Joaquin Bascuñana, and was attended, among others, the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar.

Of total aid to housing, 33,580,247 euros were for repairs;

22,851,976 euros for reconstruction;

14,748,490 euros for rent, 7,796,569 euros for commonalities and 336,848 euros for the replacement of goods.

These figures were provided during the thirty-seventh session of the said Committee, held today at the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Planning, which is tasked with assessing and quantifying the aid granted to individuals by virtue of applications submitted lease , reconstruction, rehabilitation or repair of houses that form the habitual residence, and for the replacement of household necessities.
