The Councillor for Culture of the City of Lorca, Sandra Martinez, along with representatives of various museums presented the activities that make up the program this year it plans to develop in our city on Saturday May 16 to celebrate the International Museum Day, from 10 am to 2 am.
Sandra Martinez stressed that this is an event that is consolidating as one of the most popular annual events in our town, whose main objective is that people can enjoy Lorca, but also various museums that exist, thereby contributing to social activism and entertainment.
Martinez Navarro pointed out that in this line, this year is again a step further, as the previous year, to advance in this journey, so that is no longer only the Night of Museums, but extends to all the day.
The good reception this event feared among citizens in previous years reflects the participation of more organizations and groups, because without their collaboration in the development of activities that comprise the program would be impossible to develop this activity.
The Councillor for Culture stressed that this year the novelty involved the newly opened Museum of Bethlehem, where a number of very attractive activities were held.
In addition, four museums highlight Lorca brotherhoods, as always make different activities throughout the day and night so that the public can make that journey and to enjoy this unique element that has Lorca such as embroidery.
