Juan Manuel Cabrera, candidate of Union Progreso y Democracia mayor of Lorca, expresses the commitment to incorporate the political activity of the formation magenta all initiatives to improve care for the daily problems of the deaf.
Cabrera made the remarks after the working meeting held with José Carlos Sicilia, representative of the Association of the Deaf of Lorca and Shire (ASPERSOLOR).
In it, the association has submitted a candidate for mayor of Lorca white paper where are reflected the main problems facing this group and the proposals expected to be considered by the municipal government.
Cabrera, who included in his work schedule frequent contacts with this association, says that "from UPyD defend the employment of these people, convinced that their ability to work and improvement is an incentive."
In that sense, he explained that "the problem of unemployment is particularly bloody and supplementary source of discrimination" with this group.
