The Minister of Development, Public Works and Planning, Francisco Barnabas, accompanied by the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, today visited the facilities of the Museum of White Pass and embroidery workshop featuring Lorca brotherhood in the complex the former convent of Santo Domingo.
Barnabas highlighted the "impressive heritage that displays the White Pass and the ongoing work of its embroidery and sewing workshop" and moved to the leaders of the religious corporation "the support of the Regional Government to a cultural event that is symbol of what is the Holy Week Lorca ".
The holder of Development was intercepted by Lázaro Muñoz Soto, president of the fraternity;
Jose Francisco Sanchez Navarro, senior vice president, Ramón Mateos Paredes, president of the Santo Domingo Foundation, among others in the organization.
Francisco Barnabas admired a sample of the best embroidery worked in silk and gold, as well as trucks, armor and other items that are part of the staging of the different groups procession during Holy Week.
The embroidery workshop has more than twenty people working all year to making pieces made in gold thread and silk.
