Juan Manuel Cabrera, candidate of Union Progreso y Democracia mayor of Lorca, is committed to the installation of the free wifi in the town and in villages "to facilitate access to resources and e-government".
He considers that the municipality must encourage the installation of ultra-fast 4G networks to cover as much of the municipal territory, "providing alternative systems in remote districts of the municipality" and with greater connectivity problems with alternative systems such as wireless Band WIFI wide.
For forming magenta candidate, the process of modernizing the network "must be complemented by enhancing digital literacy plans and e-accessibility", in cooperation with schools and neighborhood associations and other social groups.
Cabrera said that economic and employment development in Lorca passes encourage the establishment of companies in the information technology and communications in the industrial estates, "to diversify our economy" sector.
