Juan Manuel Cabrera, candidate of Union Progreso y Democracia mayor of Lorca, proposes a "drastic" reduction of bureaucracy "to facilitate opening license and reduction of administrative costs for new stores."
In this sense, he believes that line of work "is to make Lorca becomes a big mall once achieved progressive pedestrianization of our historic town, offering aid to those who settle in this area."
For Cabrera, the economic revitalization of the city and employment generation passes through the diversification of activities "and for a determined activity of SMEs and self-support."
Thus, another initiative is "freezing the rules of occupation of public spaces, which is an unaffordable financial burden without public funding or advertising."
Likewise, Cabrera proposes the creation of an office of attention to the activities of traders and freelancers formed by public officials themselves, to serve helps management procedures and advice on different aspects of their business.
