The Minister of Development, Public Works and Planning, Francisco Barnabas, accompanied by the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, today visited the repair of margins, drainage and pavement strengthening running on the RM-621 road, from Purias Lorca, in the section between 2.9 and 4.6 kilometers, "in order to restore the optimal traffic conditions, thus completing other actions carried out on this road because of the damage caused by earthquakes ".
Barnabas recalled that this approach is "one of the main axes that leave from the town of Lorca, with the addition that gives access to numerous farms in the southern part of town, so it is not only a much-needed action, but crucial for the proper transit of vehicles that serve the farms ".
The work involves repairing structural shortcomings in the firm, as well as the side of the road and drainage conditions.
A surface layer of five centimeters, prior to another adhesion layer and the replacement of nozzles existing salvacunetas steps at the entrances to adjoining properties will be extended.
Finally, replacement of road markings will be restored.
The planned measures have a budget of over 241,000 euros and "is expected to be completed next June," said the counselor.
