The activities will take place between 1 and 5 June.
Among them there will be three conferences, the representation of a play, an opera, an exhibition of crafts, several concerts and awards ceremony of the XXV Regional Literary Competition organized by this association
The Councillors Consumer, Women and Culture of the City of Lorca, Antonia Lopez, Lali Ibarra and Sandra Martinez, respectively, have come this morning to breakfast briefing organized by the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users of Lorca in which they have presented the activities of the Cultural Week XXV.
The Cultural Week of the Association of Housewives begin on June 1 with the opening, at 18:30 in the Palace of Guevara, Craft Exhibition by the Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar.
Next, the Cultural Center of the city, will host the opening acts with the intervention of the Mayor, the President of the association, Carmina Reverte and finally, Antonio Gil Olcina, Honorary Rector of the University of Alicante, which will a conference entitled "Bridges Dam: National and International Resonances".
To end the day, Santa Cecilia Choir will give a concert to which all citizens are invited.
On Tuesday, June 2, at 21:00 in the War Theater, will stage the play "Come running to have them dead," Jack Popplewell, and play the "do you have a good" group Association of Housewives.
The benefits that are collected will go to the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
Tickets for the function may be collected at the association, located on Calle Narciso Yepes, the price of 7 €.
The next activity will take place on Wednesday at 19:00 pm in the Cultural Center will be a lecture by Thomas Fonst Dew, Magistrate Judge, who will speak on "Parents without rights, children without duties".
After the presentation, Mario del Campo Muñoz give a concert in which he will perform famous songs such as "My big night" or "Something of Me" among others.
On June 4, Thursday, the day will be full musical.
It will begin at 19:00 with the conference "Guiuseppe Verdi, the word reigns over all things" given by Angel Walter.
Then it will be performed on stage at the Cultural Center's opera "The Magic of Verdi" by Diverlírica group.
To end the activities of the Cultural Week XXV, Friday June 5, at 19:00, the Jury of the XXV Regional Literary Contest with prizes and reading the winning entries will be announced, accompanied on piano by Jodar Jesus Manzano.
As a finishing touch of the acts, the Children's Choir "Santa Cecilia" will make a performance to the audience.
After the concert the Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, close the Cultural Week.
