Pedro Sosa, Councilman IU-Green has again denounced the sorry state of public transport in Lorca as a result of the lack of response capacity of the responsible councilor Eduardo Sanchez Abad.

The councilman pointed out that there have been several initiatives that this political group has carried out demanding improvements to this important public service, in response to multiple neighborhood complaints by the malfunction of city buses and deficiencies, during this term, which They have for years.

Specifically, Sosa has shown his doubts that the buses successfully pass the Vehicle Inspection, citing vehicles burning, they are left standing in the middle of the road by mechanical breakdowns, or circulating with the doors open in the absence of air conditioning, seriously endangering users of the bus, pedestrians and workers themselves, the drivers, who have to do their work in exploitative work conditions.

Sosa directly responsible for these matters to the councilor in charge of trade, transport and municipal emergency services, since they understand that this is a political issue that has been warned numerous times without it dared to terminate a contract with a company it is not meeting the minimum services, seriously jeopardizing the safety of citizens, emphasizing its inefficiency and lack of awareness to solve the problem.

From IU-Greens warn that if the company continues to receive public money without solving of the serious shortcomings of public transportation, systematically violating the conditions set forth in the contract which ends in March next year, they are willing to bring this matter before the Court of Auditors, since this is an urgent matter to be in play at the safety of users and workers own company.
