The mayor of Social Services has specifically stated that 62 children, accompanied by six teachers will attend today, July 6 to 21 this month at a summer camp run by Caritas and realized in the XXI Century College Mazarrón, where children will participate in activities of various kinds, and use the facilities of football pitch, gym and pool with a lifeguard to enjoy your free time.
Ruiz also explained that 80 children aged between 6 and 12 years will participate in the 20 to 26 July in another summer camp run by the Red Cross in Finca Caruana (Sierra Espuña).
Among the recreational activities that may make the boys and girls zip, crafts, swimming, overnight camping, Tibetan bridge, cooking and adventure activities and environment are, among others.
Similarly, the Red Cross is also developing in collaboration with the city of Lorca a summer school at the Colegio San Jose in which 60 children aged 6 to 12 years which takes place from July 6 to August 14 involved .

CaixaProinfancia line seeks to break the transmission of poverty from parents to children and promote the full potential and capabilities of children, trying to ensure that, despite the difficulties, have an open door to a better future and enjoy the same opportunities the others.

This is a comprehensive approach to child poverty, focusing on the daily work with all members of the family unit.
