The City Council Public Safety of the City of Lorca, Belén Pérez, has reported that members of Prevention Units and Local Operational Response (UPROL) of the local police in Lorca, in the actions of prevention of crime, they proceeded to identify , location and charging of six people at the weekly market in the district of Puri for an alleged offense against intellectual property to be sold illegally counterfeit trademark items, stepping in a total 800 items between textiles and bags.

Belen Perez explained that the proceedings were initiated upon learning that several people put on sale at the weekly market of Puri, within the municipality of Lorca, textiles, handbags, shoes and other counterfeit goods marks legally registered, with counterfeit trademarks, logos and original product labels.

The mayor of Public Safety has reported that all was launched a program to the location of people who exercised these illegal practices resulting in the identification, location and allocation of six operating, all of Senegalese nationality, giving the fact that some of these people already had a history of similar events.

Perez noted that altogether a total of 800 counterfeit trademark clothing such as Adidas, Carolina Herrera, Nike, Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, among others, whose market value could reach a sum of money exceeding 12,000 € are involved.

On these facts the relevant proceedings that were referred to Civil Guard Lorca were instructed, putting all surgery available to the Judicial Authority objects.
