Councilman Youth council of Lorca, Augustine Llamas, along with the Director General of Youth of the Autonomous Region of Murcia, Francisco Sanchez, have held a meeting this morning and have made several visits to see first hand, of Generally, all youth programs that launches the city of Lorca, through the Youth Council.

Llamas pointed out that the City Council of Lorca continues to promote youth employment therefore have applied for three Joint Employment Training Programs, which are destined to the group of young people under 30 years and are registered in the File System National Guarantee Juvenil.En First, the project "repairs", for 15 young people would get training in the specialty of "Auxiliary operations of light coatings in construction."

Second, the project "Youth Employment", aimed at 10 young people would get training in the specialty of "basic bar operations."

And finally, the "FLORA" project, aimed at 10 young people would get training in the specialty of "ancillary activities in nurseries, gardens and garden centers."

Youth Councillor explained that during the meeting were also discussed other issues concerning programs of leisure time for Lorca as is "End Adventure", developed by the Department of Youth and offering young people a wide variety of activities taking place during the weekend.

Among the activities we can mention trips to the snow, paragliding, hiking, via ferrata, caving, canyoning, rock climbing, kayaking routes, paint ball, and rafting, among others.

This year due to the success of previous editions snow travel have expanded to 550 seats, with outputs for the various Sundays of January, February and March as well as two full weekends.

We are currently working on planning the fall campaign will have a variety of activities between the above.

Agustin Llamas stressed that an aspect that will be developed from the Autonomous Community with the city of Lorca is youth participation and partnership.

In Lorca we are fortunate to have a Local Youth Council which is the true organ of youth participation.

Thanks to him, young people go out and actively participate in the decisions made by the City Council, likewise we do get them the proposals we have from youth and at the same time they take us their motivations and issues they want to develop in the city.
