Socialists believe that the situation is unsustainable and the government team has been unable to give an agreed solution to a problem that is facing irrigators of the municipality.
The Municipal Group Socialist deputy spokesman in the city of Lorca, Marisol Sanchez, said this morning that his group considers the first local authority, the mayor of Lorca, must mediate once and for all between the communities of irrigators Lorca and Field Alto to solve the conflict between the two for some time.

The PSOE have always been willing to work together to find together a solution to the problem, and have attended every one of the meetings in which they have requested our presence.
We demand that the city of Lorca to take seriously the claim of the residents of the districts high and focus its efforts on promoting the meetings and workshops as required, with the active participation of the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura, City Hall and the two communities of irrigators, something that so far the highest authority of the municipality, Mr. Jodar has been unable to achieve.
It should find a permanent solution to crystallize in an agreement between the two communities of irrigators, as they are all irrigators, share the same interests and are residents of Lorca.
