The president of the Community, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, last night delivered the opening speech of the Fair Girl 'Lorca, during the festivities of the Virgen de las Huertas.
The regional chief executive referred to the origins of this celebration and praised the "experience, feeling, emotion and participation" Lorca town during these holidays.
He stressed that this fair is "hallmark of the traditions and customs" of Lorca.
