Faced with dwindling municipal aid for school supplies, young socialists Lorca start looking for a school year on an equal basis, helping those families most in need so that no child is left without the necessary material
Socialist Youth of Lorca (JSL), in collaboration with the PSOE in Lorca, have been proposed for this school year to contribute, along with Lorca Red Cross, the beginning of the course, for those Lorca families with economic difficulties, "easier and not involving overexertion impossible to assume ".
To do this, from Wednesday 8 September and throughout the school year, the Socialist Youth of Lorca develop a campaign to collect school supplies for, in the words of Secretary General of this training, "make no child in Lorca left without the necessary school supplies for the school year to meet conditions ".
According to Ponce, over the coming weeks and is expected to put several young socialist material collection points in different areas and shops in the city, so that any citizen can contribute to this campaign by donating pencils, pens, cases, notebooks and other necessary items.
Similarly, a fixed collection point will be enabled at the headquarters of the Socialist Group Lorca.
Once the campaign finishes, this material will be delivered to the Red Cross to make this organization who is responsible for distribution at its discretion.
Increased aid for school supplies, given the PSOE
The PSOE, explained that this campaign by JSL adds to the demand made by the Municipal Socialist Group in the last regular full for the City of Lorca put in place alternative measures for the purchase of books and school supplies.
