The FERICAB International Horse Fair will be held this year between 15 and 18 October in the Garden of the Wheel of Lorca, changing its normal location due to the construction of the Auditorium and Congress.
The fair hosts the best horses, mares and foals of Pure Spanish Race (PRE), being a meeting place of different mares from all over Spain and some foreign countries;
during the event various exhibitions and competitions, some of them international in scope, in addition to displays of hooves and horse shows are held.
FERICAB this year celebrates its twentieth anniversary, but its history goes back to the time of King John II of Castile, who created in medieval times as a reward for Christians in their fight against Muslims.
In 2013 he became a Category International Fair.
In its 20th edition, FERICAB Morphofunctional PRE Competition remains a world-class competition qualified with three stars, which will run between 15 and 18.
ANCCE Cup, awarded two stars, which will be held on 15 and 16 - Among the novelties, this year's National Dressage Competition will be organized.
Will also be held, as a novelty, the Regional Dressage Championships to be held on 17 and 18.
This year FERICAB offers greater participation through Internet.

Last year, FERICAB received more than two hundred copies of horses, mares and foals of Pure Spanish while Morphological-Functional Competition contemplate allowed more than one hundred and twenty specimens from more than fifty mares.
