The seminar was attended by ten prominent speakers from the Universities of Elche, Valencia, Murcia and Almeria who taught the students everything related to physical activity and adolescence beyond an academic perspective
Sports Games Guadalentín have hosted for the first time during the days of Thursday, Friday and Saturday the course "Physical activity and health in adolescence" organized by the Universidad del Mar in collaboration with the Department of Sports.
The seminar, which was developed in the campus of Lorca, opened last Thursday by the Conejal and Universities Sports City of Lorca, Juan Francisco Martínez Sánchez Carrasco and Francisco Montiel, respectively, the Director of the University of Sea Galdana Monica Perez Morales, and the Director of the course, Juan Gonzalez Hernandez.
Ten important components related to the world of sport taught the 50 professionals from Valencia, Murcia, Almería, Mexico and Madrid who registered Congress to establish an interdisciplinary approach to the characteristics and psychological, social and functional needs that can be addressed from the viewpoint of the sport initiation and practice of physical activity to health.
Note that this seminar was one of the best that has been taught in the Universidad del Mar in terms of participants and content, as well for the talks has moved beyond academics and students showed practical examples of Sites that are having very good results and they can implement in their jobs or disciplines.
The main objective of the course was to recognize the psychological orientation that provide indications about the development of coping resources, emotional development and management approaches and quality of life in adolescence, and offer the professional and physical activity health, physical and psychological tools that complement their work to ensure greater efficiency in their work processes or with young athletes initiation or with young people who are physically active as a complement to their habits of daily life.
Therefore, in the first part of the course, called "Physical activity benefits psicosaludables ordered with" David González-Cutre Coll, professor at the University Miguel Hernández, spoke about physical activity in a healthy environment;
while Javier Enrique Garcés of the Fayos of the University of Murcia in physical activity as a source of health.
The second block, "Evidence from the face of approaches to physical activity," began with a talk on research in the field of physical activity and health given by Professor of the University of Murcia Pilar Sainz de Baranda Andújar .
Subsequently, and also from the UMU, the teacher Francisco José Montero Ortín conferred on indicators that facilitate physical activity as part of healthy development, especially in the adult role models.
Later, it is the turn to enlighten students about physical activity and improving health problems Professor Enrique Garcia Artero from the University of Almería.
This second part of the course ended with a round table made up of four teachers in which psychosocial vision of physical activity as part of health was discussed.
To end these theoretical conference on Saturday took place the third block, which bore the name "applied and methodological proposals for physical activity and health in adolescent population" where induction programs and adherence were treated to physical activity and health for teens Vicente Beltran by teachers at the University Miguel Hernandez and proposals for intervention in different contexts of physical activity and adolescent health in the hands of Professor Isabel Castillo holder at the University of Valencia.
Also, Arturo Diaz Suarez, doctor in UMU spoke about physical activity and associated issues in adolescents.
The course ended with a discussion table on the topic of physical activity and its abandonment in the adolescent period was discussed.
The seminar, which was developed in morning and afternoon sessions, and has been a success, lasted a total of 25 hours.
College, thanks to the realization of it, have had the opportunity to get free credits 2.5 or 1 ECTS-CRAU.
