Since citizens-Party Citizens want to make public the sadness supposed to Lorca and Lorca occupy third place as a municipality with the highest risk of poverty in Spain.
"One in three Lorca, over 30,000, are already considered poor or at risk of poverty."
Since C's believe that this situation is due, among other reasons, to the generalized crisis we are facing, particularly in Lorca, being one of the municipalities with the highest tax and public services in Spain, such as property tax, water garbage, seal the car, etc.
Our group, aware of the serious economic situation facing many families, led the Municipal Council June Ordinary motions not to cut the water to families with economic difficulties and "the creation of a commission to study these abusive fees" , both being approved unanimously by all political parties.
Citizens shall in the next plenary session, three motions aimed at revising the IBI to correct the abuse of charging more than double what they pay our neighbors in other municipalities.
Since citizens-C's "We are working tirelessly in defense of citizens to correct the injustices that have so far not been addressed by other formations and contribute impoverish the citizens."
In the words of Antonio Mecca "we know the economic difficulties our town, but that does not excuse you have to charge an outrageously expensive still some illegal taxes such as the IBI.
