Departing from CD Felipe VI arrival at Huerto de la Rueda, the Traverse is the oldest test performed in Sports Games Guadalentín.
Juan Francisco Martinez explained that the Traverse Mountain is a sporting event that started with the first Guadalentín Sports Games, and since then has been a test of wider participation.
This is a test that has allowed us to know the different corners of our municipality, and its surroundings.
The regularity and speed no rewards, consisting of following the path set and no improvisation.
Councilman Sports has indicated that as in previous years, will perform three cruises: Cruise, called "long", with greater difficulty, which requires a slightly more advanced knowledge in the management of maps and compass.
It is recommended for people not prepared to participate in the easiest journey, crossing himself as "short" and "family".
In both the long and short is open to all teams that wish must consist of a minimum of three and a maximum of five people.
Regarding age, in these two categories it is not possible to enroll children under 14 years.
In the family category, participation is free, regardless of age, being a prerequisite the participation of at least two persons over age group.
Carrasco Martinez noted that the place of the crossing will be released to participants on the day of the test, the time of departure.
The itinerary will vary depending on the journey (long, 20 to 25 km .; short, 12 to 15 km .; family of 5-7 km.).
In addition, the tour will take place with easy paths both technically difficult and physically, so that any member of a family can do it, trying even children can carry backpacks or other suitable means of transport for them.
Note that each team will have maps, which marked the itinerary will follow.
During the journey and upon arrival there will be sandwiches, chocolate crumbs and coffee with muffins and lunch during the awards ceremony.
Sports Councilman explained that the registration to participate in this test are performed in the Department of Sports (House of Sport), until Thursday, October 1, with a price of 15 € per participant, in the long and short cruises (10 € for children under 16 years) and family € 10 for each adult and € 5 for children.
