Since then, according to the spokesman of the PSOE in Lorca, Diego José Mateos "the victims of this tragedy are still the forgotten, suffering the lack of sensitivity of the PP in the regional and national governments towards these neighbors who lost everything, as well as to the danger that it may happen again misfortune of this caliber. The socialists demand that the Government of Spain for the Segura basin resume the demarcation of the Rambla Biznaga, as proposed by the residents of the affected areas to be needy sections of a channel able to pull water from the area, and whose processing is paralyzed with no explanation for the neighbors who "months ago requested to be served by the CHS to clarify the reason for this disturbing paralysis and have not yet been received".
