The Blue Museum of Holy Week, MASS, has welcomed Monday afternoon for the visit of fifty participants in the Erasmus + "The Europe of Religions" which is part of the program Action KA2 project.
This project, in which about 70 people among European students and teachers work, intends to invite reflection about different religions, promoting awareness of cultural diversity.
The French Institute Notre-Dame de Burcy of Magency (Paris) coordinates the project in Spanish centers involved, Swedish, Turkish, French, Romanian and Italian.
IES Carthago Cartagena Spartaria is the Spanish center participating in the project and has organized the visit.
Specifically visited French students MASS July 7 Romanians, 6 Italians, 20 Spaniards, as well as 10 teachers from these countries.
The visit was guided in Spanish, French and Italian by the Pepe Perez-Wheeler, butler who unveiled the history of Paso Blue, the configuration of the biblical processions in Lorca and tradition Lorca embroidery in the procession of Step Blue.
The organizers decided to visit the MASS for offering a museum tour to find out the history of religions through biblical characters that are part of different faiths and cultures, all it developed from Lorca embroidery art as a transmitter of knowledge.
The visitors were delighted with the heritage of the Paso Azul Museum and assembly, especially with a visit to the embroidery workshop where they could see firsthand the exceptional creative work developed by blue embroidery.
