The Councillor for Education of the City of Lorca, Francisco Montiel, announced the conclusion of a storyteller with that from the Municipal Library Network Library Day which will be celebrated on Saturday 24 October will be held.
Montiel said that "we believe there is no better way to celebrate this anniversary than with a storytelling session. The same will be at 12 am in the children's library located in the Cultural Centre, in charge of the associated tion" The Mouse colorao. "We invite all children of the village to join us because it will be a fun activity."
October 24 is the Day in Spain the library since 1997, a proposal from the Spanish Association of Friends of Children's Book.
This initiative, supported by the Ministry of Culture, came as a reminder of the destruction of the Library of Sarajevo, burned down in 1992 during the war in the Balkans.
