The Cabinet has given the green light to the addendum to the agreement between the Ministry of Development, the Community and the city of Lorca for the management of the aid provided for in Royal Decree-law6 / 2011 of May 13, by which adopting urgent measures to repair damage caused by earthquakes in Lorca.
It aims to provide the necessary affected for a fruitful development and assistance measures provided in the Decree relating to the repair, rehabilitation and reconstruction of housing, rental housing and replacement of household facilities.
Thus, deadlines are relaxed until December 31, 2019 to submit justifications affected payment of complicated reconstruction work and rent and their extensions.
Also, the completion date for the resolution of cases of application of aid were submitted by the beneficiaries within the deadline is extended until 31 December 2016.
The Joint Monitoring Committee of the measures taken for the reconstruction of Lorca has handled 16,099 cases of aid, approved in Joint Commission, of which 16,001 have been solved, accounting for 99.39 percent of the total.
Thus, the Commission has so far authorized aid worth 78.5 million euros, of which 33.6 million were for repairs, reconstruction 23.4 million to 14.8 million for rent, 7.8 million for commonalities and 337,640 euros for the replacement of goods.
