The Socialists are seeking secure employment generated in Lorca for long-term unemployed, over-45s, young, female victims of domestic violence, single parents and the disabled, among other groups at risk of exclusion

The PSOE de Lorca take a motion to the next Full Council, for the preparation of a new municipal ordinance, or approve a specification of general administrative clauses governing the conditions the conditions and requirements of public contracts, in order to ensure, just Antonio Navarro indicated as "employment that is generated through public procurement will Lorca those unemployed with greatest difficulties in gaining access to a job".

With this motion, the Socialist Lorca intended to shield a number of social clauses in recruitment, works and services to always respect, regardless of political color rule in the city of Lorca, when public contracts formalize the City Lorca done with outside companies.

In this sense, Navarro believes that this shield would be "a big step to give priority to those social groups that, because of their circumstances, have greater difficulties in gaining access to a job and, therefore, have more needs."

Also, he adds, "we understand that the amendment should include a clause obliging all departments to include social requirements to the greatest possible number of awards".

The socialist mayor considers thus be fulfilling an absolute priority for the PSOE, that employment is created equal and that employment generation serve, really, to alleviate the needs presented by 6,170 unemployed Lorca.
