The Ministry of Economic, Tourism and Employment Development will work with the traders of the region of Lorca in order to launch a pilot project to convert the area into "smart shopping destination."
The Director General of Trade and Consumer Protection, Francisca Cabrera, met with the board of the Regional Union of Dealers in Lorca who presented this project which seeks to increase the attractiveness of the shops in the area for the final consumer.
It is a plan that "integrates not only shops but also bars, restaurants and other services. In addition, new technologies and social networks will have a special role as an effective and integrated way of getting the offers and services to consumers," he said the director.
For its part, the Regional Union of Dealers in Lorca develop a memory of actions designed to boost trade and make surveys among traders to a better understanding of the current situation.
This action is part of the Comprehensive Plan of Support for Competitiveness of Retail Trade in the Region of Murcia.
