This morning, after a complaint has been forwarded to our local group, Councilman IU-Greens in the Ayto. Of Lorca, Pedro Sosa, has themselves known to the barracks of the Civil Guard Lorca to attend to the timely Seprona dumping complaint by the channel of the Rambla Alta originating from the polygon Saprelorca.
This situation repeats itself, because in 2010 more cases of these discharges were given to the promenade from the polygon, that led to the Civil Guard and the council to the search for those responsible after repeated complaints from neighbors La Torrecilla.
IU-V requested in February 2011 that networks both rainwater pipes as distinct companies of the polygon and its connection to the grid for subsequent wastewater treatment were established.
Works, it seems, have not been made after six years.
According to Councilman IU-V, each industrial activity contributes a characteristic pollution and so it is important to know the origin of the industrial waste, and to assess their impact pollutant load in the receiving environment.
When the point of discharge is known, the number of parameters that define the polluting load thereof is reduced.
The untreated discharges, in addition to the degradation of this wadi channel, are harmful to crops adjacent to it and seriously contaminate aquifers in the area, so it is essential that in addition to individualize the appropriate responsibility, is also appropriate to ensure infrastructure necessary for debugging.
