Mecca recalled that "the Espartaria Project Highlands Lorca was approved by the Regional Assembly of Murcia in May 2013, becoming Federation of Neighborhood Associations comprising the districts of Zarzadilla of Totana, Aviles, Coy, Dona Ines, La Paca, Zarcilla and La Parroquia, along with the sites of El Rincón and La Terreras. The overall project objective is economic and social development of the area as well as the enhancement of cultural, ethnographic and natural heritage, using a common and community awareness based on regional solidarity "strategy.
Since its inception under development projects such as the creation of itineraries Ecotourism as "Espartaria Belt";
dissemination plans TAL image Espartaria by graphic and multimedia publications;
Conference on Sustainable Development, training, support for job creation initiatives, etc.
