The next Saturday, May 24 is celebrated in the final LORCA THE REGIONAL MATHEMATICAL OLYMPIAD XIX organized by The Society of Mathematical Education in the Region of Murcia, SEMRM.

The Olympiad consists of two phases, a local phase held on April 26 at different locations in the region: Murcia, Cartagena, Lorca, Mula and in Yecla, involving a total of 865 students, 6. Number of Primary and 2 . ESO.
And another phase regional final, which this year takes place in LORCA, 24 May, the IES Ramón Arcas Meca test is performed, which are attended by 20 students finalists in two ESO and 4 students with honors 2 . º ESO to determine the six winners going to the national stage in Murcia from 24 to 28 June.
This is a test of math problems playful, with the aim of enabling students to discover or enhance a love for solving problems and satisfying intellectual challenges to overcome logical-mathematical in nature, ensuring a relaxed atmosphere in competitive aspects which are a tool to achieve these objectives and this attraction does not involve in any way encourage competition among different schools.
The awards show is the Saturday May 24th in Lorca Cultural Center of the City at 13:30 hours.
In this event, chaired by D.
José Joaquín Peñarrubia Manzanera, Councillor of Education Hon.
Ayuntamiento de Lorca, and who attend various authorities, shall receive a plaque certifying and some gifts to each of the ten finalists, 6. Number of Primary, the twenty finalists, 2. ESO and four honorable mention and their respective schools or colleges.
There will also be announcing the winners of the six students regional phase.
As in the local stage, and in accordance with the Rules of the Olympics, not be made public or score, or the place in the classification of any student, whether or not elected to the National Olympiad.
This act finalists are invited students, parents, and school principals, along with the teachers responsible.

10:00 Start of the test.
11:30 Arrival of the ten finalists, 6. Number of Schools, with their parents and teachers, the Centre Cultural2 to start sightseeing in Lorca.
11:45 End of test.
Breakfast offered at twenty-four test participants 2. º ESO.
12:00 Sightseeing tour of all the finalists, 2. º ESO and guests to the city of Lorca.
13:30 Award Ceremony.
Place: Centro Cultural de la Ciudad.
14:00 Spanish wine.
