The regional government has approved a direct grant to the city of Lorca for the equipment of the municipal library network worth 93,000 euros.
Specifically, the grant is made for the provision of reading centers in the districts of the municipality of Lorca.
Moreover, the Executive has given the green light Murcia for a grant of 12,000 euros for equipment and infrastructure of the library of the Royal Economic Society of Friends of the Country, Murcia, an institution that has its origins in Spain illustrated and comes to promotion and development of society in the eighteenth century.
Currently this organization is doing in the region a leading cultural work through their cultural advocacy.
The library collections are there in the Economic Society of great interest because they have documents from the years of its founding to today.
