Lorca's mayor, Francisco Jodar has this morning signed two agreements with the President of the Autonomous Community, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, by which the City lorquino receive 6,756,181 euros.

Jodar said that "through this agreement we will be able to run some 80 works that will help improve our neighborhoods and districts, with particular emphasis on improving communications and the elimination of inequalities for no Lorca first and second ".

The mayor pointed to the creation of a new road network linking Almendricos, Pozo Higuera and Escarihuela as well as improving infrastructure, lighting and roads in the districts, especially the high and the coast.
