The Councillor for Social Services, Lali Ibarra attended Thursday afternoon, day 19 to Alameda de La Constitución, which hosted the closing ceremony of the "CLASS II", in which students from the activity of "Workshop Flamenco for Kids "made a display of dances they have learned throughout the course.
The "CLASS II", has been subsidized to the city of Lorca by the Ministry of Education, Science and Research with a total of € 30,288, and is one of the projects included in the PIBAL.
The plan is aimed at schoolchildren in the centers are located in the area PIBAL and are Juan Gonzalez, San Cristobal, Casa del Niño and Andrés García Soler.
Its objective was, firstly, the activities of school support for students who have needed and secondly, the leisure activities through the implementation of what has been called " flamenco workshop for children, for students who so wished to, for free, learn to dance flamenco.
CLASS II project, has had two teachers for school support activities and four instructors for dance activities.
Have been more than 100 students so far are involved in both activities, having had a great reception of flamenco.
