Lorca's mayor, Francisco Jodar, and Councillor for Education and the City University of Lorca, Jose Joaquin Peñarrubia have made this morning for the first time a recognition of 30 students of the institutes of the municipality that have been nominated by their schools for obtaining honors in this academic year.

Peñarrubia Jódar and stressed that "the Consistory wanted to reward the effort and dedication of this group of young people who have achieved the top scores in his class, emphasizing a positive impact on his teammates."

The Mayor and Councillor for Education have handed over a plaque to each of the 29 students of 2 º Baccalaureate with honors and one to a student who receive vocational training in the municipality, and special awards.
