Spanish Tasters Union has announced the award of Young Wines XXII Contest (Prizes Baco 2,007), among which is the Sortius Contreras Winery Syrah DO Bullas, held in the hamlet Lorca de Avilés.
The delivery of these prestigious awards will be presented in the capital of Spain, next July 1 and the said stock will receive the Bronze Bacchus in the form of pink or red wines produced in contact with wood.
The Councillor for Tourism, Commerce and Handicrafts, Francisco Montiel stated "this is the first trophy you receive a wine made in Lorca, which only serves to highlight the great potential of which have the highest of the municipal districts.
The Syrah Sortius property held in Contreras Bodegas José Maria Pastor Gil has ranked among the top one hundred wines of the national territory. "
